As part of a Resources Recovery Program, The Metal Recycling Division was set up in the year 1981 and the division installed the first auto shredding plant in the whole of Middle East, with an annual production capacity of 70,000 MT. The Plant shreds automobile bodies and the end product is sold to the Steel Mills. Since its inception in the year 1981, Al Nasr Group has been the single source of Shredded Steel Scrap to the local steel company, Qatar Steel Company Limited. Professionally managed with multinational specialists in the field, the division has been witnessing an exponential growth.
